Zamaria is the first of Zy’s friends to experience his not-so-good behavior. She is the main character of the second book in the series, “Zamaria’s Broken Home.” Things go from bad to worse as Zamaria goes home to find her parents in another heated argument. This time, however, her dad moves out. Zamaria is taught the lesson that sometimes it’s better to be apart than to be together. This book brings to light domestic violence from a child’s point of view.
